The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the check-in and check-out processes were very straightforward. There are parking spots directly in front of each room, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and quite spacious, and the bathroom is adequate. We didn't use the pool since it was quite cold when we were there, but it looked clean and well-kept, and the adjoining barbecue area was nice. The complimentary breakfast includes a reasonable selection of food, and there's also filtered water available at reception to fill your bottles.

Very comfortable room. Staff very friendly. Breakfast included, unfortunately we were able to use it as we had to leave really early. Free washer and dryer available. When travelling and paying for extra, this is a nice bonus.

Hospitality Carnarvon, Surestay was a really pleasant surprise, sure it’s not a 5 star luxe hotel but eventhough it’s an older style & perhaps more traditional hotel, it is extremely clean, comfortable, quiet & great value for money. We also had dinner in their restaurant during our one night stay & the food was really great, hubby said his Butter Chicken was the BEST he’d ever eaten!

The room was comfortable and clean. There have been noticable renovations made to the room. We stayed in a family room with a queen bed and two singles. The linens were cosy and comfortable. The overall presentation of the complex was good.

The staff at this hotel were very polite and professional. We appreciated being able to park right outside the room to unload luggage. The restaurant was very good for evening dinner and we also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which was very pleasant.

The room is very comfortable with super comfortable beds, great doona, updated bathrooms, clean carpet and well stocked fridge. Plenty of tea, coffee, clean bedding and fluffy towels. Very impressed.

Clean and tidy room and property; good location; comfortable bedding, soap, shampoo & conditioner provided; breakfast included; lovely staff in the restaurant. Lovely photographs throughout the dining area and in our room. Arnott’s biscuits in our room were a nice addition to enjoy with a cuppa after a day of driving. Ah, the simple pleasures of life! We didn’t swim in the pool. The weather was too cold for that. (Visited July 2025)

This was the second time we stayed here during our north west sojourn. This time we stayed in their up-rated unit which was was a fair bit bigger than the normal unit. A lot more comfortable. The location is good in a quiet part of town near the water if you want to throw an easy line for fish. Or pop along to the nearby pub. They also have a good restaurant for the evening meal and a continental breakfast from 7am which is good for getting on the road early in the morning.

Very nice location near the sailing club. Very nice spacious and clean room with good facilities, big TV etc., and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy after hours check-in for convenience. Great complimentary breakfast. Everything nice and clean – housekeeping is top notch with the housekeeper's name who serviced your room on one of the towels on the bed. That's a nice touch, and their work is appreciated! Good on site parking right outside your room. This motel exceeded my expectations in general.

The breakfast was better than expected for a "continental" breakfast. They had cereals, toast, fruit, cheese, yogurt, deli meats, and a pancake machine. The room was comfortable. There was a large water cooler in the lobby for refilling water bottles.
